Y Wern is owned and managed by Coleg Harlech WEA and is often used for group educational purposes, as such provides no-frills and no-fuss accommodation. The basic but clean standard of the accommodation is reflected in the budget price and has recently been graded as 2* by VisitWales.
Y Wern has been recently renovated and accommodates 8 guests in 5 rooms (2 single and 3 twin, all include a wash basin).
There is a comfortable lounge which includes a Television and DVD.
There is a downstairs bedroom, toilet and wash basin, upstairs is a bathroom with bath/shower and toilet.
Harlech has a sandy beach with miles of safe sheltered bathing. The Royal St David's Golf Course and Harlech Castle are both nearby.
