Accomodation
The sitting room has four easy chairs, a 19” Sony flatscreen digital TV with freeview channels, a CD player and an electric convector heater. The dining room has a table and four chairs, an easy chair, a small ‘pub’ table, a radio cassette recorder and an electric convector heater. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator and compact washing machine, with all the usual cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and washing materials. There is a separate larder.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed; bedroom 2 has two single beds; bedroom 3 has one single bed. Each bedroom has a wardrobe and/or a dressing table, chair and rugs. The bathroom has toilet, washbasin, bath with shower attachment and a cylinder tank with immersion heater for hot water.
Bed linen and tea towels are provided but visitors are asked to bring their own personal towels. Water and electricity usage are included in the price.
Outside the front is a small area from which people may admire the view. At the back there is an outside toilet, for those who don’t mind spiders!
The Cottage is not suitable for toddlers or very old people because of the steep steps and stairs and the proximity of the road.
When costing their stay at The Cottage, visitors should also bear in mind the cost of parking, which is £3.50 per day at Penhelig car park 200 yards from The Cottage - though outside busy periods there may be free space nearby.
