Meirionfa is a double fronted, Grade 11 listed, Welsh Cottage, situated in the legendary village of Beddgelert.
The cottage dates back to c1800 and retains a host of original features. It occupies an extremely enviable and picturesque position, boasting a side garden and river views from the conservatory. It is also close to the centre of the village with its pubs, cafes and specialist shops.
Cycling routes and beautiful walks are right on the doorstep. Local tourist attractions include the West Highland Railway and, of course, the Snowdonia National Park.
The Accommodation
The cottage is centrally heated throughout (inclusive in booking price), providing heating and hot water with thermostatic control of both the boiler and radiators.
Conservatory (overlooking the river) leading to the kitchen/diner (with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker/ceramic hob, microwave, expandable kitchen table and chairs), utility room (with washing machine/tumble drier/ironing facilities), lounge (with feature original stone fireplace, and electric stove, television, DVD player and stereo system).
Bathroom (with corner bath and power shower, toilet and washbasin), 2 bedrooms - family room with a queen size bed and a single, the second bedroom is a double - with fitted wardrobes. We have a very pretty garden with barbecue facilities and parking space adjacent.
Highchair and travel cot available (up to the age of 12 months - thereafter we have a floor-level pull-out mattress for youngsters). Duvets and pillows provided, guests to supply own linen, towels and tea towels - or an additional change if you require the service. Electricity by meter.
