Description of property
This stone-built terraced cottage is an attractive 19th Century property in the small village of Rhiwbryfdir – a mere 10 minute walk from Blaenau Ffestiniog. It has a cosy sitting room with wood-burning stove, two bedrooms with stunning mountain views and a well-equipped kitchen. There are a number of footpaths close to the property which lead into the Moelwyn Mountains, whilst others nearby offer trails around the Manod Mawr and Bach Mountains, as well as the lovely hidden Manod Lake.

Fuel, power & starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent (extra wood can be purchased from owners). Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot, highchair & stairgate on request. Private off road parking for 2 cars at owners’ guest house 50 yds away. Small, steep, rear terraced garden with patio & furniture. One dog welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shops & pub 10 mins walk. Note: Patio accessed via 23 steps up and thus may be unsuitable for the less mobile. Note: Owner is a freelance mountaineering instructor, M.I.C. Qualified and Member of the Association of Mountain Instructors, and can accompany guests on trips/offer advice by prior arrangement. Fees to be arranged with owner.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Dolawel Cottage and would definitely recommend it to friends. It had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. It is very convenient for Snowdonia and the coast and shops are within walking distance. This is the second year we have booked through Sykes Cottages and we have been very satisfied.

,Beautiful property, stunning views, with plenty to do and see within short driving distance and or walking distance of the cottage. More than enough to fill many weeks stay never mind one. Going into the town of Blaenau Ffestiniog the locals were friendly, and the town quiet.
