Tucked away amongst traditional stone buildings and having the advantage of a high elevation on ‘the Rock’ in a quiet backwater of the seaside town of Barmouth, this tiny gem of a Welsh fisherman’s cottage is an enchanting cosy location for a couple looking for the most romantic of breaks. Full of original features, this little cottage offers very cosy and compact accommodation for two people with an open plan living area and a unique ‘cabin’ style bedroom. Winding passageways and medieval steps lead to the property and although it feels a world away from modern life, the cottage is within easy reach of the town’s many amenities and its stunning sandy beach. This cottage is unlike any other you’ll ever encounter and provides a memorable base for a perfect, romantic break in a glorious part of Wales.

Heating from two oil filled radiators and fan heater/cooler. Electric two ring hob (no oven), microwave, mini chiller, colour TV with built in DVD/CD player and Freeview. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking permit provided for public car park approx 400m from property. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs approx 200m from property. Note: Property is accessed by 25 medieval steps with handrail - not suitable for less mobile guests.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
Property feedback
We had a lovely time at the cottage. Yes it seemed very small when we first arrived but this had been well described when booking and we loved the cosy, homely feel and quirkiness of the place. There was everything we needed for a home from home - all very cleverly organised. We were short of nothing in terms of facilities and equipment. Quality furnishings and knick knacks about the place made the cottage very homely. For the rainy days, there were plenty of quality DVDs to watch and some games, card sets, jigsaws provided which were a lovely touch. All in all, a fabulous holiday in a quietly secluded cottage but closely situated for all town centre amenities.
